*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting and preparation. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality meat products are prepared and presented for our customers while adhering to food safety standards. *Duties* * Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications. * Ensure all meat products are properly packaged and labeled for display. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area, following strict food safety protocols. * Assist customers with their meat selections, providing excellent customer service and answering any questions regarding products. * Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report any shortages or quality issues to management. * Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in meat handling and preparation. *Skills* * Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food industry. * Proficient in meat cutting techniques and food preparation methods. * Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work. * Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
