*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are readily available. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. * Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. * Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and maintaining inventory of supplies. * Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience. *Requirements* * Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; however, we welcome candidates with relevant training or certifications. * Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and practices is essential. * Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable. * Experience in specialized areas such as Orthodontics or Pediatrics is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. * Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. * Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications relevant to the position.
