Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots.
