As the nation?s leading provider of First Aid training, St. John Ambulance in Peel Region and Dufferin County is currently recruiting first aid instructors with weekday or weekend availability for part-time or full-time contract employment.

* Enjoy working with people, have an engaging personality and understand how to best to deliver training to an adult audience?
Becoming a St. John Ambulance Instructor offers a great opportunity to expand your skills and work in an environment with a flexible schedule.
We welcome retired teachers, teaching students, and candidates with teaching experience in the role. Those with experience in healthcare including nurses, PSWs, and those in emergency services such as paramedics, police officers and firefighters are also ideal candidates. Others with contracted position careers such as massage therapists, physiotherapists and personal trainers can supplement their income.
Hiring for course instruction at one of our 3 training centres or satellite locations in Peel Region and Dufferin County. Once certified, instructors may teach with any St. John Ambulance branch across Ontario.
Requirements:
* Prerequisite completion of St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid CPR-BLS certification
* Completion of St. John Ambulance Instructor Development Program prior to course instruction (upgrade to St. John Ambulance instructor certification is available where applicants provide first aid training from a different provider)
* Police Record Check
\*\*Currently seeking participants for an upcoming Instructor Development course scheduled over two consecutive weekends Nov 29-Dec 1 and Dec 7-9

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
