<p>Hi I'm Julie Baptista, Team Lead in Fed Engineering, recruitment firm specialized in temporary and permanent recruitment for the engineering and manufacturing industries. <br>We are are all experts and speak your language. <br>We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at each stage of your career.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, an automation firm located in Boucherville, an automation programmer - Permanent position 40 hours a week - finish at noon on Fridays.</p><p>Your position <br><br> <br>Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks : <br> <br>Study and analyze information relevant to the realization of assigned projects, such as technical specifications, electrical drawings, input/output lists, functional descriptions, etc. <br>- Collaborate in the design of cost-effective solutions to meet customer requirements for assigned projects/contracts. <br>- Develop control architectures as well as connection and sequence sketches. <br>- Program different types of PLCs (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens) <br>- Program and design HMI operator interfaces <br>- Program data acquisition software (SCADA) <br>- Carry out system start-ups <br>- Research and identify the cause of failures and implement corrective actions <br>- Document configuration or troubleshooting procedures <br>- Respond to service calls and ensure rapid and efficient repair of equipment sold to customers <br>- Respond to requests for information, whether technical or related to work progress <br>- Carry out all other related tasks leading to the success of projects</p><p>Your professional skills <br> <br>- Autonomous <br>- Technical expert in your field <br>- Hands-on profile <br> <br>We're looking for a dynamic, pro-active person who can manage projects independently. Our ideal candidate likes to be seen as an integral member of the customer's team, thanks to their technical expertise. <br> <br>Your profile <br> <br>- At least 2-4 years' experience in a similar position in automation <br>- Professional English <br> <br>The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons: <br>Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing. <br>Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts. <br>Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers. <br> <br>- Education: DEC minimum Priority will be given to experience <br> <br>SCADA/HMI (Ignition)<br>PLC programming <br>Industrial communication protocols<br> <br>- Salary up to $115k depending on experience and education. <br>-Office and floor position, full insurance 50% paid by employer, paid vacations negotiable depending on experience, Friday afternoon off.</p>
