Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Factory or plant. Office building. Various locations. Commercial building. Shopping centre or mall. Health care institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers. Carpet cleaning machine. Polishing machines. Upholstery cleaning equipment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Initiative.
