Dietary Aide/Housekeeper Casual Food Service Worker Certificate (would be an asset and preferred) Experience in long-term care setting Must be able to handle fast paced work environment. Must be able physically capable of performing assigned duties, must be able to stand for periods of time, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Basic computer skills would be an asset, Under the supervision of the Nutritional Care Manager, will perform a variety of duties in the kitchen including however not limited to preparing meals(cook); serving meals, daily cleaning of the kitchen and work areas. Setting and clearing Dining Room Tables. Washing of dishes and pots. An understanding of therapeutic diets would be an asset. Putting away orders on delivery day. Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks. Maintaining a clean and sanitary public areas Washing windows.
