Successful candidates may be considered for Principal and Vice Principal positions at the elementary, middle, or secondary level as opportunities arise throughout the district.<p>By joining the Pool, youll be recognized as a key candidate for leadership appointments over a two-year period. A commitment to embracing community diversity and respecting Indigenous cultures and relationships is essential. The ideal candidate values the input of all community partners and stakeholders, maintaining open and transparent communication.<p>Responsibilities include: Foster a culture of caring and learning by promoting a compelling vision and shared values that support student engagement and success.<p> Cultivate a safe and inclusive environment centered on student learning, encouraging open communication and collaborative problem-solving.<p> Build and sustain professional relationships that inspire trust and respect among students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders.<p> Collaborate with all partners to enhance student achievement, employing effective assessment practices and monitoring instructional quality.<p> Ensure alignment of financial, human, and curricular resources with district strategic plans and school priorities.<p> Demonstrate strong teaching practices and proficiency in learning supervision.<p> Shape and implement the schools vision and strategic goals to promote ongoing improvement in teaching and learning.<p> Support staff development through mentoring and coaching, fostering a collaborative environment for professional growth.<p> Utilize data to evaluate student progress and adapt instructional strategies as necessary to achieve improvement goals.<p> Lead crisis management efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff.Qualifications: <p>In addition to holding, or being eligible to obtain, a valid- LocationChilliwack, BC
