*Overview* We are seeking a full-time or part-time two dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team of Gastroenterologists. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an ambulatory outpatient settings, including subspecialist offices and clinics. This position requires a strong commitment to patient health, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with Gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals. *Duties* * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations as required. * Prescribe medications as required and monitor patient responses. * Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. * Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions. * Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. * Participate in research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes. * Collect and analyze data related to patient health trends and treatment efficacy. * Dictate Clinical Consultation and follow up Notes. *Requirements* * A degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited programs. * Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the Canadian association of Physician Assistants (CAPA). * Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Ontario. * Experience in medication administration, medical office settings is preferred. * Strong skills in patient care, data collection, and familiarity with EMR. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the attending specialist. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $48.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * EMR: 1 year (preferred) * physician assistant: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationWindsor, ON
