We are seeking a full-time Controller for our Kingston-based automotive client with operations across Canada. This role will report directly to the President and provide strategic and financial leadership within the company. *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead and execute full-cycle accounting, including preparation of financial statements, budget planning, and reporting * Perform detailed cost analysis to support business decision-making * Ensure accuracy in accounting operations and compliance with financial regulations * Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight and strategy * Maintain and manage the company's accounting system using QuickBooks *Qualifications:* * A minimum of 5 years? experience in accounting roles, preferably in the automotive or similar industries * Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and proficiency in advanced accounting functions * Professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent education is preferred * Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities *Why Join Us:* * Opportunity to take a leadership role in a growing company * Competitive salary and benefits package * Collaborative and innovative work environment Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.Job Type: Full-time *Compensation & Benefits:* * *Base Salary:* $90,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn up to $140,000 based on performance and bonus incentives * Health, dental insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Company vehicle * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Positive, customer-focused work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00-$140,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * Accounting: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-01- LocationKingston, ON
