*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards in an often fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and reliability of all vehicles serviced.
*Duties*
* Review work orders and discuss
* Inspect mechanical components of vehicles, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components using computerised diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
* Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, tire repolacements and rotations, tune-ups and fluid checks.
* Communicate effectively with customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace and shop to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies.
* Keep a professional appearance. Company uniform is provided
* Will consider a competent 4th year apprentice
*Skills*
* Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for automotive repair with a willingness to learn and improve with hands on training.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
* Experience in heavy lifting as required for certain repairs and maintenance.
* Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers regarding needs of the vehicle.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.

* Ability to commute/relocate:
* Must be able to reliably commute to High River, AB or plan to relocate before starting work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week
