*Job Title*: Project Manager
*Location*: Port Kells, BC
*Job Type*: Full-Time
*Job Summary*: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee daily business functions and ensure seamless project execution. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage work orders, schedules, subcontractors, and warehouse operations while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
*Essential Responsibilities:*
* Ensuring that sales orders and contracts are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Establishing and enforcing company policies and processes.
* Providing quick and effective solutions to operational issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, order fulfillment issues).
*Essential Duties:*
In some cases, these duties or parts of these duties will be performed by the staff reporting to the Project Manager, or by themselves as required.
· Creating and maintaining job records and information on awarded sales orders and contracts as once they are awarded, executed, and completed.
· Ensuring that purchasing occurs in a complete, timely, and accurate manner in keeping with information provided by our customers and the Pricing Department.
· Coordinating with the Pricing Department to ensure that accurate job information is available for each awarded job (quantities, selected materials, scopes of work) and ensure that Work Orders are created in a timely and accurate manner for use by the Installation Department to schedule and execute work.
· Approvals are performed in an accurate and timely manner to support the monthly reporting requirements, both for subcontractor and vendor bills.
· Coordinate with financial controller to ensure all billing is complete and accurate.
· Provide oversight and direction to the Installers to ensure that installation schedules are properly maintained and coordinated with material deliveries.
· Ensuring that the quality control inspection program operates effectively to reduce jobsite deficiencies and ensure that all identified service issues are dealt with promptly and with a view to maximize the revenue from such activities.
· Monitor and supervise operational support staff to ensure that they are performing their duties productively and to the benefit of the company, adjusting staff responsibilities as required, and recommending changes to staffing levels based on revenue levels and sales backlogs.
· Facilitate the change order request process, working with customer project managers to ensure that change orders are issued, returned and invoiced in a timely manner.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience in operations or project management, preferably within the flooring industry.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with subcontractor management, job costing, and work order management.
* Experience in warehouse operations and quality control processes.
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.

*Wage: *$60,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually based on experience.
