Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Noisy. Odours. Work setting: Commercial facility. Industrial facility or establishment. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Overtime required. Ability to work independently.
