Education: Bachelor's degree. Accounting. Accounting and business/management. Taxation. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Accounting firm. Tasks: Identify clients' financial goals and objectives. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Plan, set up and administer accounting systems. Supervise staff. Analyze clients' financial records. Arrange training for staff. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies. Develop financial plans for clients. Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning. Prepare financial statements and reports. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records. Provide financial, business and tax advice. Variance analysis. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Charterered Professional Accountant (CPA). Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software. CANTAX. Caseware/Caseview. MS Excel. TaxPrep.
