Successful candidates are expected to: <p><p> understand the importance of supporting a welcoming environment; <p> present a positive attitude towards inclusion and diversity; <p> identify opportunities to support inclusion and diversity; and, <p> take meaningful action. <p><p>Chinook School Division is seeking an individual to provide custodial support to the Shaunavon Bus Garage for 1.5 hours each week or for 3 hrs per week, alternating weeks. <p>Start Date: As soon as possible <p>Qualifications: <p><p> Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff<p> Proficient in the use of all hand tools and equipment<p> Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting<p> Good physical condition<p> Previous cleaning and floor care experience in a public Facility<p> Self-directed, able to complete assigned tasks without supervision<p><p>Duties (may include but are not limited to): <p><p> Daily cleaning and disinfecting when students are in attendance <p> Special cleaning during school breaks<p> Minor repairs and maintenance<p> Operating mechanical equipment such as snow blower, lawn mower, power scrubber etc. <p> Yard work, including snow removal and lawn mowing <p> Extensive lifting may be required up to and including 20kg. <p><p>Benefits: <p><p> Positive work environment<p> Pay range: $21.34 to $22.93 per hour<p><p>Applications will be accepted until filled.<p>For more information about this position, please contact Shauna Lacher, Manager of Human Resources by email at slacher@chinooksd.ca Please submit your application to the attention of Shauna Lacher, Manager of Human Resources.<p> <p>All Applicants will be subject to an interview prior to being employed by the division. <p>Please note: All successful applicants must agree to a Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search as a condition of employment.- LocationShaunavon, SK
