Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Private sector. Tasks: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements. Collect and screen applicants. Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment. Review candidate inventories. Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures. Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties. Computer and technology knowledge: Automatic data processing (ADP). MS Windows. Electronic mail. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Judgement.
