We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical imaging clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting patients with check-in and registration.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar.
- Verifying patient information.
- Collecting and processing patient payments.
- Coordinating patient flow and ensuring minimal wait times.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medical documents.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and addressing their inquiries.
- Assisting the medical staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (medical office assistant training or certification preferred).
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Proficient in computer software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward patients.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
