Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Load and unload goods. Sort packages for delivery. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Provide customer service. Pick orders and stock. Place stock on shelves. Keep shop and warehouse clean. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Regional. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Judgement. Organized. Reliability.
