*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Camp Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in summer camps and a commitment to fostering a positive calm environment. As an Counsellor, you will be responsible for delivering preplanned engaging lessons, supporting student with the activities, and contributing to the overall success of the program. Our programs include: Dance, Yoga, and Play Gym - Please state in your application which program you think would interest you the most. In addition, indicate any experience you have in any of the areas: Dance, Yoga or Play Gym. *Responsibilities* * Review programming prior to scheduled shift. * Maintain a positive group environment that supports campers engagement and motivation. * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share best practices. * Communicate effectively with campers and staff regarding the program. * Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. * Enjoy nature as we spend a good portion of our day outside being creative and active. *Qualifications* * Previous summer camp experience is highly desirable, with a proven track record of effective instruction. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues. * Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes is an advantage. * Having reliable transportation would be considered an asset.
