This key role, supported by the News Director, requires a highly experienced TV news producer and writer with a proven track record of building successful shows in a high paced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled at overseeing and creating engaging, journalistically and legally sound content and taking it to air in the control room.The Supervising Producer is a management role that involves starting very early in the morning each day and leading a team of associate producers and hosts in generating and producing compelling, original local news and current affairs stories and segments for CTV Morning Live. We are seeking a candidate with deep knowledge of the Vancouver region, strong journalism and people skills and exceptional English writing abilities. The successful candidate will be extremely organized and calm, capable of building and maintaining a staffing and production schedule that ensures smooth operations.
