The Human Rights and Harassment Office (HRHO) was established as a confidential, independent, and impartial office to oversee the resolution process by receiving, treating, and resolving all occurrences of harassment and violence, including sexual harassment, sexual violence, discriminatory harassment, and domestic violence. It acts as Air Canada's Designated Recipient and devotes its resources to preventing harassment and violence in the workplace through sensitivity and awareness training. <br> <br><strong> Description of the Role </strong><br> <br> The incumbent will act in the capacity of the Designated Recipient, to respond to notices of occurrences of harassment and violence, and properly guide and advise a party to the resolution process. More specifically, the Advisor will work for the HRHO and help foster a workplace free of harassment and violence. While they will work autonomously, the HRHO is committed to providing training and support in a collegial and team-focused environment. This is a full-time permanent position that supports the HRHO and reports to the Director, Human Rights and Harassment - Canada (Director). The incumbent could work in a hybrid arrangement. <br> <br><strong> Responsabilities: </strong><ul> <li> Respond to notices of occurrences and provide guidance on the Resolution Process to the parties. </li> <li> Active Participation in Negotiated Resolution (i.e., early conflict resolution) with the parties and relevant stakeholders to facilitate discussions to reach a resolution. </li> <li> Ensure prompt resolution of occurrences, including conflict. </li> <li> Provide guidance to managers and other stakeholders, as required, on issues of misconduct and other related concerns to restore and ensure productive workplaces. </li> <li> Collaborate with HRHO team members and external stakeholders to ensure workplace health and safety across the Company. </li> <li> Act in compliance with federal legislation, including the Canada Labour Code and the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations by namely respecting timelines, providing the parties with status updates and mandatory documentation. </li> <li> Record all information relevant to a notice of occurrence in the HRHO database, collect and save data required by law, and resources for the HRHO. </li> <li> Identify trends and systemic issues in the workplace by managing and collecting data and analytics, and update the Director, as required. </li> <li> Familiar and comfortable with the Company's applicable policies (from both a legal and procedural standpoint). </li> <li> Supporting all necessary parties, including unionized employees and managers (at both the local and more senior levels), when queries and guidance is sought on harassment and other matters implicated in the applicable policy and related HRHO documents. </li> <li> Providing training and education to stakeholders on the Resolution Process, more specifically, Negotiated Resolution. </li> <li> Provide support as required to the investigators (both internal and external) and investigations. </li> <li> Schedule, as required, events and meetings for the HRHO company-wide. </li> <li> Enhance and update the HRHO Aeronet webpage - ensure information may be easily and properly accessed based on employee group and location. </li> <li> Create communications and visual materials for the HRHO, as needed. </li> <li> Case management functions using existing tools and identifying opportunities for new tools. </li> <li> Upda
