Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of an *Office Manager.* This opportunity is located in the community of *Steinbach, MB*.
*Your days will include:*
* Office Management (Ensures that the operational activities of the office are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible at all times, Updates and implements office policies in collaboration with Human Resources, Provides administrative support to the Executive team and Farms management team, Establishes standard operating procedures for office activities and internal processes, Assists with all customer/stakeholder visits and Manages internal office communications)
* Event and Program Coordination (Works with internal teams in the coordination of tours and presentations to clients and guests as needed, Manages employee meat purchases and Takes a lead role in executing company events)
* Staff management (Ensures adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload, Carries out staff appraisals, manages performance and disciplining of staff and Delegates work to staff and manages their workload and output)
*To succeed in this role, you must possess:*
* 5-7 years office management experience
* Demonstrated advanced organizational skills
* Ability to monitor work performed by staff
* Demonstrated ability to work within a budget
* Must handle stress and be adept at assigning responsibilities to staff and meeting deadlines
* Ability to motivate employees in order to increase productivity
* Demonstrated strong decision-making skills
* Advanced ability to work with various computer software packages, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
* Possess strong written communication skills for writing proposals, presentations
* Effective oral communicators, as well as being able to interact with many different individuals in a professional manner
* Ability to negotiate with internal and external vendors
* Strong customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively and work in collaboration with other teams
* Flexibility and the ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task and make deadlines
* High School Diploma Required and Business Administration Certificate is an asset
