Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar. Clean bar area and wash glassware. Serve food or snacks. Provide recommendations on drink selections. Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages. Operate cash register. Operate video lottery terminal. Record and balance beverage sales. Store beverage and food products. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Resolve conflict situations. Set up equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Serving It Right Certificate. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
