*Job Summary*
The candidate will oversee all financial activities including financial planning, budget management, all financial preparation and reporting on a timely basis.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of our organization and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
*Duties*
* candidate will oversee all financial activities including financial planning, budget management.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and reporting on a timely basis.
* Develop and implement budgeting processes, monitoring performance against budgeted targets. The individual will monitor financial operation results against budgets.
* Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to the senior management.
* Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
* Utilize accounting software QuickBooks, to streamline financial operations.
* Ensure proper documentation and controls are in place for all financial transactions.
* The individual will implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and coordinate and oversee the annual audit.
* The individual will manage cash flows and forecasting activities.
* The individual will direct all accounting staff as to their duties. They will be leading and supervising and training the accounting team. The job will also need someone willing to dive into accounts receivable, payroll and payables when necessary.
* *Qualifications*
* Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
* 5 years+ experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account analysis.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
