Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: At heights. Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial. Various locations. Tasks: Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring. Install exterior and interior steel studs. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Scaffolding Certification. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Hard hat. Steel-toed safety boots. Tools.
