Compost CoordinatorPassionate about the Environment, Operations and Public Service! We are looking for a Compost Coordinator to organize and supervise staff, coordinate the daily operations and maintenance at the City?s Regional Biosolids Composting Facility in Vernon. You will be responsible to review, research and provide technical advice to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policy. You will also educate customers and respond to enquiries and complaints.The successful candidate will have completed a Diploma in Environmental Sciences or related discipline and have sound knowledge of Organic Matter Recycling and regulatory requirements applicable in the Province of British Columbia and Canada. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Help create Kelowna as a City of the Future.
