Fillware experience required ! Local candidate preferred. We are looking for a highly motivated part-time Pharmacist to work in a community pharmacy including methadone services. Candidate must be willing to work on some weekends and some regular weekday shift as required. Wage is negotiable. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Checking prescriptions for accuracy * Counseling patients on new prescription medications * OTC counseling * Health management consulting * Participating in Meds Checks and other ODB covered programs including flu shots during flu season, smoking cessation consultation and initiating new therapy etc. * Collaboration with pharmacy assistant to accurately dispense prescription medications * Extending Chronic Medication Prescriptions for patients that do not have refills as per OCP policy *Qualifications and Skills* * Bachelor of Pharmacy * License to practice in the province of Ontario * Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist in community pharmacy in Canada * Superior interpersonal skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Commitment to providing exceptional customer service * Must have Kroll software proficiency * Must have knowledge about methadone and Suboxone dispensing as per OCP guidelines * Able to help assistant with cash register duties, entering Rx in computer during busy hours * Experience of working in an independent Pharmacy is an asset but not compulsory.
