Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Manufacture. Office building. Tasks: Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
