Premiere Suites provides rented furnished apartments, condominiums, and townhomes for stays that on average are longer than 30 days and less than one year. Premiere Suites has over 1,600 suites in 38 cities across Canada. We are seeking a Director of Business Development for the GTA that will help this branch office continue to grow its sales and be more successful.
As a Director of Business Development , your duties include:
* Solicit and secure new business for extended stay accommodation within a specified territory, as well as across Canada
* Service and maintain new business accounts
* Build and develop strong business relationship with key contact(s) of new accounts
* Generate leads and opportunities by identifying target accounts within a designated territory
* Aggressively pursue new business via telephone, email, personal sales calls, sales blitzes, presentations and networking
* Conduct site inspections of properties within the territory with potential clients
* Maintain updated files of clients and prospective clients in CRM
* Negotiate rates and optimize revenue
* Prepare and tailor presentations for prospective clients
* Participate in industry events, associations and tradeshows
* Achieve and/or exceed prospecting, personal calls, site visits goals
* Achieve and/or exceed occupancy and revenue goals
* Work closely as a team and assist other departments, if required
* Professional in appearance and represent Premiere Suites in such manner at all community and industry organizations and related events
* Travel will be required on occasion
* Other projects and duties, as required
Requirements:
* 5 years? direct sales experience, preferably in the Hospitality and/or Real Estate and Short-Term Rental Industry
* Motivated individual who works well both independently and within a team
* Post-secondary education; Diploma or Degree preferred
* Proven success in achieving sales targets and goals
* Ability to prioritize and to meet deadlines
* Demonstrated strong communication skills
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Displays a professional, positive attitude and maintains enthusiasm
* Must have a valid driver?s license and own vehicle
* Flexibility to travel occasionally
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Must be available to work evenings, weekend and holidays when required
Compensation:
* $60,000-$65,000 annually
* Base Salary + Commission + Bonus
