Responsibilities
Tasks
-
Maintain clean and safe work environment

Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
-
Transport raw materials, finished products and scrap materials through the plant

Feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment

Open valves and start pumps
-
Sort, stack, bundle and stamp materials
-
Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
-
Load and unload vehicles using forklift or dolly
-
Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish

Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
