Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Confined spaces. Work setting: Construction. On-site customer service. Installation. Residential. Tasks: Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools. Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods. Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck. Area of specialization: Spraying and blowing insulation. Fire stopping and fireproofing. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Manual dexterity. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
