As a trainer on National Bank?s Commercial Financing Operations (CFO) team, you?ll create stimulating and effective learning environments. You'll play a key role in developing our new Edmonton team analysts' skills, guiding them to deliver an exceptional experience for our clients. Your ability to design engaging training courses and support participants' learning will make a real difference to their success and the quality of service we offer at our new centre.<div><br><div><strong>Your role </strong></div><div><ul><li>Plan and organize the sector's learning needs to meet development objectives </li><li>Create and update training materials to ensure that they are relevant and effective </li><li>Lead clear and engaging classroom or online training sessions </li><li>Coach and follow up with participants to achieve the learning targets set </li><li>Ensure the satisfaction of the teams trained and adjust the methods to continuously improve the learning model </li><li>Influence and support learning and design needs in response to changes in the sector </li><li>Contribute to improving and transforming the sector with an approach that is proactive, curious, and innovative </li></ul></div><div><strong>Your team </strong></div><div><br></div><div>As part of the Commercial Financing Operations sector, you?ll join a dynamic team and report to the Senior Manager - Commercial Financing Operations, Western Canada. You will play a key role in our organization, involving regular interaction with the people on your team and the Financing Operations teams in Montreal. Our team stands out for its teamwork, mutual support and collaboration, agility and flexibility. </div><div><br></div><div>Your training will be based on a dynamic program combining classroom and online courses and on-the-job learning to help you master your role. To promote your continuous learning, you'll have access to personalized training content on such topics as document production, financing processes, and compliance aspects. You?ll also have access to our Montréal team colleagues who have a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development. Training locations will vary depending on where you live. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Prerequisites </strong></div><div><ul><li>College diploma in a 3-year technical program (DEC) and 6-7 years of experience OR a bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of experience OR any other combination of education and experience considered equivalent </li><li>Proven track record in training, making presentations, and leading groups </li><li>Experience in transferring knowledge and skills (training and coaching approach) </li><li>Excellent communication and coaching skills </li><li>Thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook </li><li>Ability to manage change and work in a changing environment </li><li>Excellent time management skills</li></ul><div><div><p><strong><span>About the National Bank of Canada</span></strong></p><p><span>We?re Canada's 6th largest bank and the leading one in Quebec.
