Our systems are used in many industries including nuclear, power generation, petro-chemical and medical. Liburdi combines expertise in control technology, machine design and welding processes to develop unique solutions to challenging applications presented by these industries.</p><p>We have an opening for a <strong>Project Engineer/Project Manager </strong>with a strong technical background in custom machine design, manufacturing and testing.</p><p>The Project Engineer/Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing projects that meet all customer requirements. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across various departments.</p><p><strong>Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):</strong></p><ul><li>Review contracts to define project scope, deliverables and schedule in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders</li><li>Lead and coordinate project staff to ensure project milestones, technical and quality requirements are met</li><li>Develop positive working relationships with customers while communicating project status, addressing concerns and ensuring expectations are met</li><li>Create and maintain key project documents such as schedules, action lists, meeting minutes, and deliverable lists</li><li>Work with Purchasing and Manufacturing departments to manage Equipment Lists and Bills of Material, ensuring all materials are available when needed</li><li>Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and product testing to ensure alignment of technical teams with project requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Key Skill Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Highly organized</li><li>Proven team leader</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li></ul><p><strong><em>Key Education/Experience Requirements:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Engineering Bachelor?s Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma required (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of MS Office and project management tools</li><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant project engineering/project management experience is required</li></ul><p><strong><em>Application Information: </em></strong>This role is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
