We operate in a regulatory environment to ensure the policies, legislation, and regulations we are responsible for efficiently guide road safety. We also maintain records regarding vehicle registration, driver licensing, medical fitness, driver competency and compliance, all working together to ensure a safe road network.</span></span></p><p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About Our Opportunity</b></H2></div><div><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">A position is available with the Violations team responsible for processing Criminal Code and Motor Vehicle related convictions, surrendered licenses and defaults onto driver records. In this capacity, data entry skills, accuracy and analysis are essential as the information you deal with is complex and timely action is required.</span></span></p><p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Primary Accountabilities</b></H2></div><div><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">As a Driver Compliance Clerk under the Road Safety Division, you are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of data to driver records. You are responsible for initiating appropriate follow-up action for drivers as required under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act and corresponding regulations.<br><br>We operate in a fast-paced environment where the decisions you make have a direct impact on clients. We need your accuracy and ability to multitask and deal with changing priorities to keep objectives on track. Confidentiality is of utmost importance too, given the sensitive information you will encounter on a regular basis.<br><br>This position provides the opportunity to work in conjunction with other Registry of Motor Vehicle staff with regards to driver records.
