Ready to Make an impact?We are looking for a Demand Planner who will work closely with Category Managers to review forecast results and make forward-looking recommendations on opportunities in their respective category. You will also work with sourcing, category management, marketing, process optimization and go-to-market functions to understand forecasts and trends; and support testing, implementation, training, and adoption of the Ocado platform.This position is based at our office located in Montreal Quebec. Shift available: Shift available: Monday to Friday (12 p.m. to 8 p.m.) or Sunday to Thursday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).Here's where you'll be focusing:Understand the demand for respective categoriesManage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand and provide buying team with the right information to plan to meet that demandDevelop reports to determine priorities and areas of opportunity and confirm/communicates results; creates ad hoc reports as necessaryIdentify forecast accuracy root causes and refine process to ensure continuous improvement of the overall processSupport the company's long-term strategy and inventory reduction while maintaining high Customer Coordinate seasonal forecast and plans with merchandizing, suppliers, and distribution teamsPropose sales forecast based on observations, knowledge, and assessments; collaborate with partners to refine forecastsTrack projections and recommend appropriate action to achieve service level metricsAccountable for ensuring forecast accuracyWhat you have to offer:Understanding of supply chain and businessExcellent communication skills3 to 5 years of experience in forecast management, statistical analysis, procurement, or logisticsIntermediate knowledge of ExcelExperience with fresh products or groceries#LI-Hybrid #LI-LM1 We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, which varies by role and designed to help our teammates to live better - physically, financially and emotionally.
