*Job Title:* Handyman/Handyperson *Job Summary:* We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our building remains in in excellent condition. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform minor electrical repairs in community areas such as replacing lights * Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary. * Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, and other parts of the building. * Ensure vendor comes in on their cycle to maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required. * Perform routine landscaping on the grounds. * Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or other related building repairs. * Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., shoveling snow, sanding for ice). *Requirements:* * Proven experience * Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment. * Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems. * Good communication ability. * Well-organized and apt in problem-solving. * Attention to detail. * High school diploma or equivalent. *Preferred Qualifications (but not mandatory) :* * Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing). * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. * Physical stamina and dexterity. *Compensation:* * Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person- LocationGrande Prairie, AB
