The Sales Representative is responsible for new customer development and providing counsel visits to stores ensuring that we maintain and grow sales and profits while achieving weekly sales and revenue objectives. Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment.Here's where you'll be focusing:Provide regular sales visits to storesResponsible for increasing sales and profitability as per budgetProvide sales counseling to customers and national accountsResponsible to present service, sales programs and special products to customersTake sales orders and pickup cheques as required Provide exceptional customer service to meet customer needs and ensuring continued customer loyaltyPresent new potential customers an overall sales program including all services and pricingProvide overall merchandising and operations assistance for store setupInform management on competitive activity and market changesResponsible to keep accounts receivables within our credit termsMaintain a clean and safe work environment as per Company requirementsOther duties as requiredWhat you have to offer:Proficient use of the Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and meet objectivesExcellent communication skills (both oral and written)Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain customer baseEffective problem solving skillsSelf-motivatedTwo to three years experience at the wholesale and retail levels within theGrocery industry a strong asset2+ years in sales in an account management type role with some business development experienceProven track record hitting sales targets#LI-DS1At Sobeys we require our teammates to have the ability to adhere to a hybrid work model that requires your presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week.
