Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Hot. Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Establish work schedules. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Recommend personnel actions. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Supervision: Electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers. 11-15 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
