Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Other grain farming. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Monitoring animal health. Treat livestock health issues. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Perform general farm duties. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently.
