Job Summary: The role of the 3rd Class Power Engineer involves the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure steam systems in a SAGD facility. This position is critical to the continuous production of steam necessary for the extraction of heavy oil. You will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers, turbines, and associated systems, ensuring that operational targets are met in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Steam Generation: Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers, turbines, and related equipment within the SAGD facility to meet production requirements. Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor and adjust controls on boilers, steam generators, pumps, and compressors, ensuring optimal system performance.
