*ROLE OBJECTIVE:*
Reporting to the Executive Leader of Shared Services, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for overseeing and processing all accounts payable data entry, ensuring that vendor payments and employee expenses are handled accurately and in a timely manner. The accounts payable clerk will provide support for Hardline Engineering as well as their affiliated company Firefly Power and Energy.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Create invoice payment batches providing support documentation.
* Create purchase orders as per vendor quotes.
* On a monthly basis, reconcile company credit card statements.
* Maintain accurate records of all account?s payable transactions in the general ledger.
* Manage accounting email boxes.
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist in month-end closing procedures and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes.
* Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
* Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Acumatica or other relevant software).
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
