*Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team. As a Skilled Siding Installer, you will be responsible for installing Hardie board siding and trim on residential buildings, working alongside a talented crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in siding installation, particularly with fiber cement products like Hardie board, and experience with flashing, fascia, and metal bending. You will work closely with our lead hand and crew to ensure projects are completed on time, with precision and care.
*Responsibilities*
* Install Hardie Board Siding: Measure, cut, and install Hardie board siding panels and trim on residential homes.
* Fascia and Flashing: Install fascia and flashing, ensuring proper water protection for vulnerable areas of homes.
* Metal Bending: Utilize metal bending tools to prepare and install flashing around windows, doors, and rooflines.
* Strapping and Preparation: Assist with strapping over brick walls to prepare the surface for siding installation.
* Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the lead installer to ensure all siding and trim are installed to company standards.
* Quality Control: Inspect all materials and installation processes for accuracy, alignment, and safety.
* Site Cleanup and Maintenance: Keep the job site clean and organized, ensuring all tools and materials are in proper working order.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in siding installation (Hardie board preferred).
* Familiarity with flashing, fascia, and metal bending is a plus.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a team of workers.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in construction and snow removal
* Experience in bending and installing metal flashing.
* Understanding of proper water management practices and installation of weather barriers.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Effective time management and organizational skills

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Good stamina and physical health
* Ability to read, write, speak English.
* Strong understanding of siding installation techniques, especially with fiber cement products.
* Ability to measure, cut, and fit siding with precision.
* Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and handle tools safely.
* Willingness to collaborate with the crew and assist other team members as needed.
* High level of craftsmanship and pride in delivering quality work.
