Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Construction. Installation. Tasks: Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Train or arrange for training. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Read blueprints and electrical schematics. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Supervision: Electricians. Apprentices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Construction Electrician Trade Certification. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?.
