Job details
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing internal audits, ensuring that all audit findings are accurately documented and rectified in accordance with the bank?s policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, banking regulations, and audit practices, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Responsibilities*:
* Plan individual audit assignments, determining the audit scope and coverage, including detailed audit procedures.
* Prepare audit working papers to support audit work done and findings; collect audit evidence through discussion, observation, sampling tests, substantive tests, etc.
* Prepare audit findings and recommendations.
* Draft audit reports for review.
* Follow up on the rectification of audit findings and recommendations.
* Participate in the development and improvement of risk-based methodology and audit practices, including auditing techniques and sampling methods.
* Provide constructive comments and recommendations on emerging issues identified by business units and other functions.
* Maintain communication with external auditors, regulatory authorities, H.O. Beijing, and other relevant stakeholders, providing support and assistance when needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*:
* Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in financial auditing or related roles, with at least 1 year of experience.
* 1-3 years of working experience in the banking industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial services, and risk management.
* Familiarity with banking regulations.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are preferred but not required.
