Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD). Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD). Prepare proposals. Analyze technical documents and reports. Tender contracts. Assist in supervising construction projects. Prepare working drawings. Supervise architectural technical staff. Write specifications. Monitor and inspect work. Estimate costs and materials. Construct architectural and display models. Assist in design development. Prepare presentation graphics and drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting . Prepare reports. Computer-aided design (CAD).
