Hosper Mortgage is a Financial Service company in Toronto, ON. We are multi-awarded for what we do, named top alternative lender in Canada 4 years in a row, and are opening a rewarding position for an applicant whose duties would directly support the ongoing success of our business. This role is heavily detail and organization focused. Day-to-day duties in this role include working alongside the borrower customer care team, communicating with our investments team and underwriting team, confidently speaking with clients over phone and email, assisting with mortgage renewals, and general administrative tasks. Success in this role would be measured by your overall attention to detail and level of organization, and ability and willingness to help in various areas of the business.

*The Position*: We are looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to start in working in-office from our Toronto office. Hone your customer service and administrative skills as you work with our team to support the growth of our business. Work priorities and volume will vary day-to-day but will mostly consist of regular responsibilities. A detail-oriented candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment is a must, but also someone with an aptitude for a high level of organization would do very well in this role. The pay range offered will be based on the prior experience, education, and competencies of the successful candidate. Compensation growth in this role will be based on performance. Success in the 6 month contract could lead to a full-time permanent opportunity with our organization.
*Responsibilities:*
· Assist with mortgage renewals.
· Reach out to clients by phone and email to collect outstanding payments and renewal items.
· Regularly communicate with Hosper?s investment team and underwriting team.
· Liaise with high-net-worth clients who have invested in our direct mortgage investments
· Keep record and follow up with administrative items such as loan status, task lists, borrowers in default, and more.
*Beneficial Skills & Experience:*
- Confident in corresponding with clients over phone and email is a must.
- Experience working in call centres, banking, or investment sales should be emphasized in your application.
· Comfortable receiving and making calls relating to negative situations is a must.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel would set you up for instant success.
· A degree, diploma, or certificate in business administration, finance, or a relative field would be beneficial.
· Prior experience with Mortgage Automator is a bonus.
· High level of customer service, the ability to work under pressure, organization, and attention to detail are all required skills.
· A positive attitude with the ability to stay professional during client interactions will find long term success as our network grows.
· An affinity for technology, process improvement, and automation will set you up for success.
