Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Head office. Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Prepare trial balance of books. Reconcile accounts. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Do you have the necessary equipment for remote work (i.e. internet, home office, etc.)?. What is the highest level of study you have completed?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
