Job details
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide physiotherapy interventions to patients with various conditions, including acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to promote recovery and improve mobility
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- New grads are and resident physiotherapists are welcome to apply
Experience:
- Experience as a physiotherapist, preferably in a clinical setting is an asset
- Strong knowledge and skills in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
- Training in Dry needling/ IMS and Manipulation therapy is asset. Right candidate will be provided educational allowance.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and their families
- Strong problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment plans
- Empathy and compassion for patients undergoing physical challenges
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
