Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Documentation knowledge: Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Type of trucking and equipment: Refrigerated. Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Team player.
