*Position: Truck & Trailer Technician - Gincor Werx Sudbury location*
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Truck & Trailer Technician who has experience working with commercial truck and service vehicles to repair and install products such as drivelines, lift axles, springs, installation and repair of pumps, PTO's, hydraulics and other inspections and repairs.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, determine extent of repair required, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
* Diagnosing issues on various trucks/ trailers.
* Maintenance and repairs of trucks, trailers, preventative maintenance
* Diagnosing electrical issues and repair.
* Installation and repair of hydraulic components including lines, etc.
* Installation and repair of Pumps/ PTO's.
* Installation of Drivelines/ Springs.
* Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
* Use variety of hand and pneumatic tools for disassembly and installation.
* Use various welding a cutting equipment.
* Assist 310T mechanic with inspections and repairs.
*Requirements and Competencies*
* Knowledgeable of truck and trailer safety requirements and certification.
* English fluency - excellent customer service.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in truck and trailer or heavy equipment field.
* Ability to work independently.
* Reliable and safety conscious with a teamwork attitude.
* Ability to be certified in forklift operations.
